Ingredients (for 4 persons)
  • Adductor muscles of scallops (for Sashimi)

    12

  • Flour

    2 tablespoons

  • Roasted sesame oil

    2 tablespoons

  • Shallot (small Size)

    1/2

  • White wine

    1/3 cup

  • Marmalade

    2 tablespoons

  • 【Seasoning】

  • Salt, pepper, chili pepper (cayenne pepper) and paprika powder

    Appropriate amounts

Directions
  • Sprinkle the seasoning ingredients over the scallop adductor muscles and coat them with flour, dusting off any excess.

  • Heat Pure Sesame Oil in a pan, saute both sides of the adductor muscles from (1), remove and keep the heat.

  • Put minced shallots in the pan from (2) into the juice of the sauteed adductor muscles, and saute the shallots until wilted.

  • Add white wine to the mixture from (3), boil down slightly, add marmalade and boil down slightly again.

  • Add salt and pepper to the mixture from (4) to taste.

  • Arrange the adductor muscles of scallops sauteed in (2) on a serving dish and put the sauce from (5) on top.

Tips: The sweetness and slight bitter taste of marmalade go with various ingredients. Why not try some of your own?
