  • Chicken Thighs

    300g

  • Salt and Pepper

    to taste

  • Potato Starch

    1 tablespoon

  • Kadoya roasted sesame oil

    1 tablespoon

  • [A]Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)

    1 tablespoon

  • [A]Soy Sauce

    1 tablespoon

  • [A]Sake

    1 tablespoon

  • [A]Sugar

    1 tablespoon

  • [A]Mirin

    1 tablespoon

  • [A]Grated Garlic

    1 teaspoon

  • Frillice Lettuce

    to taste

  • Chopped Green Onions

    to taste

  • White Toasted Sesame Seeds

    to taste

  • Mayonnaise

    to taste

Directions
  • Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and coat with potato starch.

  • Heat the Kadoya roasted sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat, and cook the chicken from step 1 until done.

  • Add the mixed sauce ingredients [A] to the chicken from step 2 and simmer until thickened.

  • Place lettuce on a plate, add the chicken from step 3, and top with chopped green onions, white roasted sesame seeds, and mayonnaise.

Tip: If you like spicy food, adding a bit of doubanjiang (fermented chili bean paste) will enhance the heat and flavor.
