Ginger chicken with sesame oil
Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Chicken Thigh
1 chunk

Kadoya roasted sesame oil
3 tablespoons

Sake
2 tablespoons

Lettuce
as needed

[A]Chopped long green onion
1/2 stalk

[A]Grated ginger
1/2 piece

[A]Soy sauce
1 tablespoon

[A]Honey
1 tablespoon

[A]Salt
a pinch

[A]Juice from steamed chicken
2 tablespoons
Directions

Remove the fat from the chicken thighs and cut the tendons. Rub with salt (not included in recipe) to clean the meat, then rinse under running water and pat dry.

Heat 1 tablespoon of Kadoya roasted sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the chicken skin-side down until browned. Flip, add sake, reduce heat to low, cover, and steam for about 10 minutes.

Use a bowl,combine 2 tablespoons of sesame oil with the ingredients from [A] and mix well.

Let the sauce from step 3 sit for 5 minutes. Slice the chicken from step 2, place it on a plate with lettuce, and drizzle with the sauce.
