Fried chicken with spicy sweet sauce & green onion salty sauce

【Spicy sweet sauce】

[B] Soy sauce

[B] Mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)

【Green onion sauce】

[C] Finely chopped green onion

[C] Granulated chicken soup stock
1/2 teaspoon

Roasted white sesame seed

Directions

Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Put them in a bowl, rub them with [A], and let them stand for 20 to 30 minutes.

While (1) is marinating, make two types of sauce. Mix [B] and [C] in separate heatproof containers and microwave (600W) for 2 minutes each, and leave to cool. When cooled, add 1 teaspoon each of sesame oil. Add roasted white sesame seeds for the sauce [B].

Put flour in the bowl of (1) and rub it in well. Add potato starch, and sprinkle well. Shape the pieces one by one into a round shape by lightly grabbing each piece with hands.

Heat oil in a deep fryer to 180℃, add (3) and deep fry for 5-6 minutes. Remove from the pan, drain off the oil, and place on a plate.

Serve (4) with the sauces from (2) and enjoy dipping the fried chickens.
